Managing Editor for The Weekly Journal. She has 14 years of experience as a reporter, news editor and TV anchor. Her professional experience includes a 7-year tenure with El Vocero, where she served as the government’s house correspondent and later as an editor. In 2009, she received the “Young Journalist of the Year” award from the Puerto Rico Journalists Association and during her career, she has received awards for her investigative reporting. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico. She also has experience as a public-policy specialist and strategic communications manager.
Reporter for The Weekly Journal. She is a journalist with more than 20 years of experience as a reporter and editor covering business, economics, finance and politics. She has worked for media outlets in London, England and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Rosario received both of her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She is an avid bibliophile and world traveler.
Reporter for The Weekly Journal. She is a journalist with experience in social- media management and digital marketing. She has covered politics, business, health, lifestyle and social issues. Giovanna is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Narratives at Sacred Heart University in San Juan.
Cynthia López Cabán
Reporter for The Weekly Journal. She is a curious and fearless journalist, equipped with 16-plus years of writing. She is eager to dive into new adventures and churn out stories on business, economics, government, politics, culture, resilience, malfeasance and randomness. Cynthia received a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English Literature from Sacred Heart University. She is a hard news junkie, chocolate addict and Martha Gellhorn and Hannah Arendt partisan.
Photojournalist for The Weekly Journal. He has 20 years of experience as a print, digital and TV photojournalist. Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Film from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
